We are looking to recruit an individual who can provide support for a vulnerable child with complex needs. The right candidate will be offered Makaton and Downs Syndrome training. Experience of working with vulnerable children would be an advantage

The is a fulltime role and involves:
-Provide support for a vulnerable child with complex needs
-Following individual curriculum set by SENCO
-Providing some personal care
-Assisting child throughout the day, both in the classroom and at lunch/play time
Key Skills and Qualifications:
-Makaton Level 1
-Eligibility to work in the UK
-GCSE 'C' in Maths and English or equivalent
-Experience of working in a special school environment is desirable, but not essential
-Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable, but not essential
