Have you worked with children aged 7-19? Do you have a passion for improving the lives of children with learning difficulties? Will you be the person who enhances the development and behaviour of your pupils?

We are looking for an energetic and creative SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialised school in the Cranleigh area. You will be working with children aged 7-19 who have a wide range of learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties and need assistance in accessing the curriculum. This is a great opportunity to experience a really interactive and creative way of learning and to join a dedicated and experienced team who will offer you all the training and support you need.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-Providing feedback to teacher on progress and development
-Supporting the general well-being of learners
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Have an understanding of and an interest in SEN.
-Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
-Ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with children.
-Be confident to lead small groups in different educational subjects.
-Be able to work with learners who have various learning difficulties.
