A special educational needs school near Guildford are looking for a passionate and positive SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with complex and severe learning difficulties. You will focus on enabling your pupils to access an interactive and practical curriculum. This will improve their life, social skills and help meet their learning and developmental needs.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
-Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development
-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

-The ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with students and teachers
-A passion for working with SEN children
-Own means of transport
-The ability to support the general well-being of students
-Good numeracy and literacy skills
