Are you a dedicated Teaching assistant? Have you SEN experience? Would you like to expand your training with learning the CABAS Curriculum?

Then this job opportunity will not be around for long!

With large facilities and two split sights, this school are dedicated to helping students with Autism and speech and language needs to expand their knowledge of learning key skills in a practical curriculum. In addition, you will start this role with a two week placement, to assure that you understand the routine and introduce yourself to the curriculum. Furthermore, you will continue to support the main teacher to effectively provide the information needed for the classroom including: observing students and reporting back to the main teacher/line manager.

Job responsibilities:
- Support students from KS1 - College level with Autism and related disabilities
- Provide support from Care plans
- Promote good choices made by the student and reward effectively
- Fill in communicational books and liaise with line manager
- Ensure health and safety is provided at all times

Key Skills:
- Have own means of transport (As this school cannot be accessed through public transport)
- Experienced in Care, SEN education or Nursing roles.
- Adaptable to work with all students
- Have a deep understanding of helping students with Autism
