We are looking for a compassionate and supportive SEN teaching assistant to work in a fantastic school near Crawley for children with learning difficulties. You will be enabling your students to access an interactive and practical curriculum which enhances the social and emotional skills of the children. Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with pupils
-Providing feedback to teacher on students' progress and development
-Creating a secure and positive classroom environment
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Following the individual learning plans set by the teacher

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Be able to build positive and appropriate relationships with students and teachers
-Have a passion for working with SEN children
-Own means of transport is essential
-Able to support the general well-being of students
-Good numeracy and literacy skills
