I am looking for an individual to join a wonderful school near the Dorking area where your main focus will be guiding and supporting young children to independence. There will be a lot of functional skills and activities that will allow young children to get involved with the community.

Your role will require:
* Understanding each students' health plan
* Liaising with teachers to ensure all learners are supported
* Engaging with the learners to keep them on task
* Assisting during break duty, outings and class activities
* Delivering 1:1 or small, group-focused lessons when required

The skills required:
* Good Maths and English skills
* Previous experience working with Autistic learners or challenging behaviour is essential (children or adults)
* Patience and flexibility to deal with changes that may arise due to the nature of the learners
* The ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
