A lovely school in the Eastbourne area is looking for an SEN teaching assistant to support their students in their primary school to start after half term.
Your role of teaching assistant will be vital to the continuity of the students' development and the high performance. You must have the ability to support them through out their day and with tasks that they may find challenging.

Your role will require:
Liaise with teacher to ensure all learners are supported
Engage with the learners to keep them on task
Assist during break duty, outings and class activities
Deliver 1:1 or small group focused lessons when required

The skills required:
Good maths and English
Previous experience working with Autistic learners is essential
Patience and flexibility to deal with changes that may present themselves due to the nature of the learners
Ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
