Are you experienced in working with Autistic learners?
Do you have a passion to support and guide students?
Are you looking for a new challenge that starts after half term?

An outstanding school in the Eastbourne area is looking for an SEN teaching assistant to support them for the summer term then to go permanent in September.
This role is vital for the continuity of the students progress and development. It is essential that the ideal candidate has experience working with Autism.

Your role will require:
Liaising with the teacher to ensure that all learners have targets set
Small group lessons to be delivered
Tailoring tasks for each student to meet their needs
Have an understanding of how to work with Autistic learners

The skills required:
Good maths and English
Previous experience working with Autistic learners is essential
An understanding of working with young Autistic learners
Ability to look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
