A specialised SEN school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with children aged 7-19 who have a range of learning, social and communication difficulties. This is great opportunity to join a team whose main goal is to improve the quality of life, learning and development of these pupils who would otherwise be disadvantaged in a mainstream school.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Working on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
-Providing feedback to teacher on progress and development
-Supporting the general well-being of learners
-Supervising and monitoring behaviour
-Tailoring learning techniques to individual learners
-Engaging in outdoor activities as well as learning the curriculum

An ideal candidate may possess the following skills and capabilities:
-Be able to work with learners who have various learning difficulties.
-Have an understanding of and an interest in SEN.
-Be flexible and creative in your approach to learning techniques.
-Ability to build positive and appropriate relationships with children.
-Be confident to lead small groups in different educational subjects.
