job description

We are actively looking to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with primary-aged children (3-7yrs) with behavioural needs, beginning asap.

This opportunity is based at an OFSTED 'good'-rated SEN school located within the county of Cambridgeshire. With excellent and ongoing training and support provided, the head teacher and SEN coordinator are looking for a dedicated, team-working Teaching Assistant to join the team!

Applicants MUST have experience in supporting children with EBD / SEMH needs, ideally within an educational setting. This role is ideally suited to a confident, dedicated and hardworking individual, preferably an experienced Behaviour Support TA, with an excellent grasp of Maths & English.

This is a full-time position, beginning immediately and would be the PERFECT placement and SEN focused opportunity for those seeking a permanent SEN support role, or who are working towards a career in:



* Forensic Psychology
* Educational Psychology
* Primary / SEN Teaching
* Social Working


RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Providing 1:1 Behaviour Support across KS1 & KS
* Working full-time (5 days a week)
* PERFECT ahead of Masters / Doctorate in Psychology
