Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity in a high school?
Have you got experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to support pupils between the ages of 11 and 19. You will be working in a high school in Blackley, Manchester. The school meets the needs of pupils with a range of learning difficulties including moderate, severe and complex learning difficulties. Some students have additional complex learning, sensory or physical needs; there is a growing number of students with high dependency medical needs or autism spectrum conditions (ASC).

The responsibilities of this role include:
*Working in small groups or on a one to one basis with pupils
*Assisting pupils with any additional care needs (e.g. feeding, toileting and administering medication)
*Supporting the teacher within the classroom with any work that may need to be done
*Set up the classroom for the day and for any activities in lessons

The requirements for this role are:
*A DBS on the update service
*Experience working as a TA
*Experience working with pupils with complex needs
*Having a dedication to improving pupils learning experience
