Do you have experience working with pupils with additional and complex needs?
Do you want to help support pupils in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school?

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced teaching assistant to work with pupils with complex needs. All students have a statement of special educational needs for moderate to severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Some students have additional complex learning, sensory or physical needs; there is a growing number of students with high dependency medical needs or autism spectrum conditions. You will be supporting small class sizes in a High School in Manchester with pupils aged between 11 and 19.

The responsibilities of this role include:
*Supporting the teacher of the teacher within the classroom
*Working on a one to one basis with pupils to aid their learning
*Helping pupils with any additional care needs (e.g. toileting, feeding, administering medication)
*Setting up the classroom for the lesson

The requirements for this role are:
*A DBS on the update service
*Team Teach qualification
*Experience working with pupils complex needs
*Being a dedicated teaching assistant who wants to help pupils reach their full potential
