SEN Teaching Assistant

Do you want to work with young children who are eager to learn?

Do you want to work with a supportive staff team who will help you develop your skills in the SEN sector?

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about helping pupils learn and inspire them to reach their full potential. The successful candidate with support the teacher of a class with lessons and help pupils with their care needs. You will work with children between the ages of 11 and 19. You will be working with pupils who have special educational needs; moderate to severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Some students have additional complex learning, sensory or physical needs.

The responsibilities of this role are:



* Supporting the teacher during lessons
* Working one to one with pupils to help aid their learning
* Help the teacher to devise lesson plans
* Assisting personal care

The requirements for this role are:



* A DBS on the update service
* Experience working with children or with people with additional care needs
* Be committed to helping provide pupils with a broad, creative and inspiring curriculum with the help of the teacher
