We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Worker to help vulnerable young adults with learning difficulties find the independence and social skills to leave school as confident individuals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Encouraging and enabling students to maintain acceptable levels of personal and environmental hygiene
- Interacting and participating with the students in the development of skills, supporting pupils to reach their potential
- Supporting students' participation in social, leisure, educational and employment opportunities within the community
- Providing the support and care specified in students' individual learning plans
- Participating in relevant training to achieve the required qualifications
- Attending mandatory training days/courses, on or off-site, as and when required

An ideal candidate may possess the following:
- Experience of working with adults or children with learning or communication difficulties
- 5 GCSEs with minimum Grade C/ level 4 or equivalent, including Maths and English Language
- The desire to help others to enjoy learning and develop independence
- An honest, trustworthy & ethical mindset
- Own means of transport
