This academy school in Surrey is looking to add a Teaching Assistant to the current SEN support team. This bright and modern primary school offers extensive facilities as well as large grounds are looking for someone engaging to join the team in supporting an individual child on a 1 to 1 basis. This school is looking for someone who can uphold the schools values and ensure that they are inspiring the pupil in their care to become confident to face the challenges of the future. The ideal candidate will be flexible and able to demonstrate initiative when working inside and outside of the class room. The school are searching for someone who can confidently liaise between the teaching staff, SEN team and parents. The role is a permanent position starting ASAP with training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
* Working 1 to 1 with a named SEN child
* Liaising between SEN team, class teacher and parents
* Supporting named child inside and outside of the classroom
* Helping the teacher to set up lessons
* Contributing to continued academic and social growth of each child
* Adapting teaching style to ensure it reaches every child

Requirements:
Please note that candidates who do not meet the essential criteria for this role will not be considered.

Essential:
* 2 references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
* SEN experience in a UK Primary School

Desired:
* An up-to-date DBS on the update service
* Knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
* A job history for the last 10 years
