The Opportunity
You will be joining a welcoming and well-resourced SEN team dedicated to ensuring every student achieves their potential. This role involves providing targeted support to students with a variety of needs, including Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a mainstream secondary school setting.
Your Role Will Include:
... Providing one-on-one and small-group support to students during lessons.
Assisting teachers in adapting and differentiating classroom materials to meet specific student needs.
Helping students develop independence, social skills, and self-esteem.
Managing challenging behaviour constructively and fostering a positive learning environment.
Working collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals.
What We Offer
Competitive Pay: The role offers a competitive starting rate of £90 per day.
AWR Pay Rise: The rate will increase to £107 per day following the completion of the Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) qualifying period.

Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about inclusive education and possesses the following:
Experience: Previous experience supporting young people (aged 11-16) with SEN, ideally within a secondary school setting.
Knowledge: An understanding of various special educational needs and effective support strategies.
Personal Qualities: Excellent communication, patience, resilience, and a positive, flexible attitude.
Commitment: Availability to start work immediately (ASAP) on a full-time basis.
