Are you a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant? Do you have experience dealing with students with EBD?

An EBD Teaching Assistant is required for long term supply cover in an SEND school in St Helens. The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to support Teachers with a range of subjects, including GCSE level English, Maths or Science. You must be able to engage with the students, gain their trust and help them to develop essential skills for life beyond education.

Requirements:



* Teaching Assistant qualification
* Previous SEN experience, preferably working with students with EBD
* A good knowledge of the national curriculum

Responsibilities:



* Support class teacher and help deliver fun and engaging lessons
* Build rapport quickly with staff and students
* The ability to deal with challenging behaviour
