Annual Salary: £20,941.30 - £22,835.30 (Term-Time Only)
Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week, Term-Time Only
About the Role:
In this role, you will support students aged 11-16 with special educational needs, including Autism. Working alongside our experienced teaching team, you'll assist both in the classroom and through hands-on outdoor activities such as Bushcraft and life skills. Your involvement will be crucial to their academic progress and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support and ensure students' safety and well-being.
- Assist students in achieving goals set out in their Education and Healthcare Plans (EHCPs).
- Use positive behavior management strategies tailored to each student.
- Keep accurate records of incidents, accidents, and health and safety concerns.
- Promote positive social interactions and teamwork among students.
What We're Looking For:

- A strong desire to work with young people and build trusting relationships.
- The ability to handle challenging behaviors.
- A creative, positive approach to problem-solving.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills.
- GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade 4 or equivalent) are desirable but not required.
