SEN 1:1 Tutor

Randstad are looking for an SEN Tutor who can specialise in 1:1 tuition for schools around the St Helens area. We are looking for someone who has experience working with vulnerable students who are struggling to access education.


* Working with students in their homes, centres or public libraries delivering education and engaging student.
* Planning and delivering individual sessions based upon the student's assessments and required targets, skills and interests and complex and emotional needs
* Documenting and providing evidence of learning by reporting on individual sessions through completing preassigned templates.
* Attending review meetings to provide evidence of your student's learning and development


* Experience of working with students outside of a mainstream classroom setting
* Experience working with disengaged students struggling in education
* Experience in SEN and inclusion
* Emotionally resilient
* Non-judgemental, calm and patient
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* A creative approach to delivering the curriculum, personalised to each individual student
* Commitment to Safeguarding and Child Protection
