We are looking for an associate tutor to be an applied resilience lead focusing on society, culture and outdoor learning. You will work on a one to one basis and in small groups to improve children's learning, development and behaviour. The school is based in Essex and caters for children with a wide range of emotional and behavioural issues.

Your responsibilities will include:
-Building and maintaining relationships with students, teachers, parents and outside agencies to improve the learning, progress and behaviour of students.
-Using different outdoor environments to enhance learning and development
-Reflecting on own methods and the progress of students
-Engaging and interacting with students to enable them to access the curriculum

An ideal candidate may posses the following skills and capabilities:
-Good numeracy, literacy skills
-Have experience and an understanding of working in SEN or EBD settings
-Have the ability to reflect and self-evaluate
-Have experience in and a passion for outdoor education
