Do you want to work with a supportive staff team who are dedicated to achieving high standards?

We are looking for an experienced teacher to work in a primary school in Rochdale and to support pupils aged between 3 and 11. Pupils at the school may experience moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD) or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). They may have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Visual or Hearing Impairment and/or Social Communication difficulties. The school has a dedicated staff team with many years of experience in teaching children with learning difficulties, autism, and physical needs. Pupils have access to a range of specialist facilities, rooms and spaces, these include:



* A hydrotherapy pool
* A specially designed sensory room
* A light room
* A soft play room
* An art room,
* A fully-equipped food technology room
* An outdoor rebound trampoline
* Specialist staff members: physiotherapists, occupational therapists, educational psychologists and speech and language therapists

The requirements for the role are:



* A DBS on the update service
* Experience as a teacher
* A teaching qualification (NQTs are welcome)
* A dedication to providing an outstanding learning experience
