We have a rare position for a Senior Account Manager to join our In-house business, covering the Midlands. Reporting into the Account Director you will oversee a number of sites for a key client, ensuring business growth.
You will be responsible for:
Client management Developing a long-lasting relationship with the clientEstablishing and maintaining an effective contact chain, extending our network within the clientWorking with our Black Belt Six Sigma team to promote new business opportunities (e.g. cost savings, process improvement, end to end efficiencies)Reviewing (monthly and/or quarterly business review) regularly our services with the clientDriving true value add with our client through strategic conversations, using data analysis and MI.Ensuring planning tools are in place to provide an effective delivery to match the changing needs of our customers.Managing your own P&Ls including monitoring personnel costs and driving growth and profitability across accounts.Ensuring all sites are fully compliant.
People Management Supporting and driving a high performance cultureConducting regular 1-2- 1 review meetings with team membersProactively managing employee turnoverEnsuring all business and local information is cascaded in a timely way to drive employee engagement and understanding of their value and role.Identifying talent and creating opportunities for development.Demonstrating inspirational leadership and leading by example.
Who are we looking for?
This role would suit someone who has high service standards, thrives on autonomy and wants to be fully accountable for the development and maintenance of clients. You must have worked with P&Ls previously and you must have held a senior position, managing a team across multiple blue collar sites. A good people manager is vital in this role.
