job description

Randstad is currently recruiting for a national client who provides a wide range of services for adults with autism, including supported living and outreach support. Across their services, they very much consider how each individual thinks and work hard to cater their care to the individual.

The successful applicant for this role will be looking after a small team of around 12 support workers while delivering front line care. Most of the service users are in a residential setting, but there are a couple in their own homes. Part of the job will also involve liaising with different external bodies, including doctors and families.

Preferred Skills:



* Experience managing a small team
* A health and Social care qualification or willingness to gain SVQ level 4 in health and social care and leadership and management for care services
* A good level of IT literacy, including MS Word and Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication

Personal Attributes:



* Good communication skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* The ability to deal with difficult situations
