Senior Biostatistical Programming Manager

Do you come from a biopharmaceutical background? Are you a strong people manager with a background in Biostatistical Programming? If so, this could be a great option for you.

A pioneering independent biotech company is looking for a Biostatistical Programming Manager to join their team in Middlesex. There are flexible working options with some remote/home working on offer. You will sit within the Global Statistical Programming team and will be responsible for managing a team of Programming Managers who coordinate and oversee programming projects and carried out by 3rd parties (FSPs) and ensure the successful delivery of outsourced clinical projects.

Key responsibilities: -



* Managing the team, responsible for aligning outsourced programming service provider projects with company key priorities
* Functional oversight of Product Programmers, Technical Managers, Study Lead Programmers and Study Programmers
* Leading process improvement initiatives
* Provide strategic direction and estimates for projects resource needs
* Ensuring 3rd party programmers meet key quality compliance and predefined deadlines
* Provide leadership, support and guidance on best practice, tools and techniques
* Working in collaboration with company statisticians to develop robust Programme and Project delivery plans

Requirements:-



* Degree in relevant scientific subject, such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Life Sciences
* Statistical experience in biopharmaceutical industry
* Experience working on Phase 1-4 clinical trials and knowledge of clinical trial processes
* Experience working in a globally dispersed team
* Ability to lead and guide team to successful completion of programming activities
* Excellent SAS analysis and reporting skills such as SAS Base, macro and SQL
* Experience specifying and implementing SDTM and ADaM data sets and TFLs
* Ability to define and implement effective standardization strategies in line with CDISC SDTM and ADaM for each product
