Job title: Senior Brand Manager
Location: Maidenhead
Contract length: 12 months (maternity cover)
Pay rate: £50,000 per annum
To develop and implement brand-marketing strategies and plans, using all elements of marketing mix with the aim of increasing sales and market share.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
... - Define and develop brand strategies across the marketing mix to maximise brand growth potential by utilising insights from various data sources e.g. market research, in market competitive performance, internal sales and profitability data, market and shopper trends, and others as necessary.
- Develop, and implement brand plans that deliver on marketing strategies and goals with measurable success measures and milestones to ensure performance is evaluated on a regular basis with recommendations for corrective action if required.
- Liaise closely with relevant marketing teams including Digital and Trade Marketing; cross functional teams including regulatory, finance, medical, supply and commercial excellence; regional and category marketing teams; and external partners to ensure excellence in execution of brand plans and strategic projects.
- Manage product innovation process including insight generation, ideation, business case, product development including artwork, planning, customer engagement, implementation/ launch and post launch evaluation.
- Full forecasting responsibility with a high level of accuracy to ensure demand projections are in line with demand trends and planned brand activities.
- Full budgetary responsibility to ensure brand investment are within agreed spending limits. Manage brand purchase order approvals in line with approved brand budgets and observing finance and procurement policies.
- Report and present brand performance including internal financials (sales, investment and profitability), and in market performance (offtake, market share, rate of sale, distribution, promotional ROI, and post campaign evaluation) to various management levels with recommendations on adapting strategies, plans, investment opportunities, competitive threats and course corrections if required.
- Responsible for brand content development with preferred agencies and lead internal approval process to ensure content is delivered in a timely manner.
- Responsible for ensuring brand content and activities meet regulatory, compliance and policy requirements.
- Engage with regional teams and show high responsiveness to provide and participate in area requests as and when required.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Educated to degree/diploma level in business and/or marketing
- Proficient in microsoft office programs
- Proven track record of success within a brand manager or equivalent role
- Industry experience preferred
