Job Description:
As a Senior Health and Safety Consultant, you will play a key role in advising and supporting our clients to ensure their projects are delivered safely and in compliance with all relevant regulations. You will manage a diverse portfolio of schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert health and safety advice, guidance, and consultancy services across various projects.
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety management systems tailored to client needs.
- Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive health and safety reports, action plans, and recommendations.
- Lead health and safety training sessions and toolbox talks for clients and their teams.
- Support clients with incident investigations, ensuring root cause analysis and lessons learned.
- Advise on CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations and act as the Principal Designer when required.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and changes in health and safety legislation.
- Build strong relationships with clients, offering proactive and practical solutions to health and safety challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Chartered Membership of IOSH (CMIOSH) is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of CDM Regulations, risk management, and safety compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects and delivering results within tight deadlines.
- Experience in delivering health and safety training and workshops.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the North West.
