Due to project wins, a SME main contractor has the opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team in Glasgow.
The main contractor just had their most successful year last year, and have a strong pipeline of work for 2020. Over the last few years, the company has had consistent business from repeat clients and gained new business also.
Duties include preparation of monthly valuations, sub-contractor measures and payments and monthly cost report (CVR). Additionally, reconciliation of sub-contractor quotations and placement of sub-contract orders. The role will be office based with site visits, reporting directly to a senior QS and/or commercial director.
To be considered for this position, you must have experience working for a main contractor. A degree in Quantity Surveying is essential, and to have completed the part time day release course would be preferable.
