job description

My client, a residential developer are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis for traditional build residential developments across the East Midlands.

They are looking for a candidate for an office based role to cover up to 3 sites at any one time.

The client requires a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis following a recent acquisition and a burgeoning catalogue of work and the candidate will be covering duties including:



* Procurement
* Variations
* Valuations
* Payments
* Cost-reporting
* Final accounts
* Site meetings

The projects are traditional build housing including timber frame and brickwork and range housing developments up to 5 bedrooms.

Requirements for the client include a candidate who is capable of working under their own steam and prior experience on traditional build residential development is a must, preferably with a developer and ideally a PLC so they will have knowledge of systems and protocols within the large scale developer market.

The ideal candidate will be; Degree qualified or equivalent, how good spells of longevity on their CV, have experience on traditional build residential development, will have worked for a tier 1 developer or main contractor, have at least 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience, experience of procurement of packages, package management, CVR's.
