Position: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Milton Keynes & Alyesbury
Rate: £400-£450 p/d Inside IR35 depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Have you ever thought about working on HS2? Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor? Do you want to work under a huge tier 1 joint venture (JV)? If yes, then this might be the opportunity for you!
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be a part of the UK's biggest railway infrastructure project which is HS2. Not only this but the candidate will be working under a major JV which will no doubt enhance their career status.
The scope of works includes 80km of new track from two destinations. This will be broken down into a further two sections and all together will comprise of 17 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 75 over-bridges and 24 million cubic metres of excavation! The project itself is in excess of £1bn and is one of the biggest enabling schemes in the UK.
The candidate must have previous experience working on similar major projects under a tier 1 contractor. He/she must have major civil, highways or civil within a rail environment experience with more than 5 years in a Senior Quantity Surveyor position.
