job description

I'm delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's most successful and highly respected Main Contractors in their search for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. With a heritage of over 150 years experience delivering some of the UK's most iconic Buildings and Infrastructure schemes, they also are very much a modern Construction business, championing modern methods of construction, Sustainability and Social Investment.

The successful candidate will join the Project team on a 3 year flagship £86m Retail new build and redevelopment scheme in Nottingham.

Candidates will support the Commercial Manager to ensure robust financial control is exercised across the lifecycle of the Project, maximising profitability and minimising risk. They will work closely with the wider delivery team including Project Director, Project, Site and Section Managers, Planner and HSEQ. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the £18m M+E Package.

Candidates must have demonstrable experience within a Main Contracting environment delivering large value Projects. Specific experience working on large M+E Packages or Retail Projects would be an advantage but not essential.

Salary and package is highly competitive and career progression opportunities are some of the best in the industry.

We encourage and welcome applications from all sections of society and are more than happy to discuss reasonable adjustments and/or additional arrangements as required to support your application.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
