Senior Quantity Surveyor - Warrington

I have an urgent requirement for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor based in Warrington. They work across a variety of sectors and have a strong portfolio of work upcoming, in the commercial new build sector.

Projects at present range in value from £5M - £25M and projects are located throughout the North West. Projects currently include Hotels, Offices, Industrial Units, NHS and local authority projects.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to produce evidence of doing so throughout your career.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who is looking for career progression and development. You get the opportunity to build your own commercial team, including Junior Quantity Surveyors, Estimators and Buyers.

Senior Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

* Proven success as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
* Have experience managing new build and fit out projects
* Have experience of managing multiple projects commercial performance simultaneously.
* The ability to apply the knowledge and principles of commercial management to construction projects.
* Have commercial awareness to assess margin, risk and cash flow.
* Ideally professional membership of RICS, CIOB or ICE.
* Sound working Knowledge of construction and contract law and various forms of conditions of contract.

As stated this is an immediate requirement, however accommodations are in place for candidates on a 3 month notice. A start can be arranged as soon as it suits both parties.
