We are currently recruiting for senior support workers to support young adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. It will be in Bury St. Edmunds area and there are day and nigh shift positions available.
Responsibilities:Assisting with the running of their residenceEncouraging and supporting their hobbies and social skillsTo connect with the service user by using intensive interaction and stimulating activitiesTo encourage a positive environment by supporting their particular behavioural needsPossibly providing high levels of personal one-to-one careMaintaining and developing residents' welfareActing as an inspiration to vulnerable service usersAbility to provide consistent and structured approach to the care and support you provide

Requirements:experience with LD or ASDEnhanced DBS CertificateHolding relevant qualifications is welcomedExperience of working in a similar role that can be referencedAble to work flexible shift patterns to include, days, evenings, nights and weekendsAble to work independently and as part of a teamDiploma level 2/3 in Health and Social Care
