Would you relish the opportunity to be involved in one of the regions flagship Civil Engineering Projects?

Due to a significant project award, our award winning Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Client is seeking to supplement it's Operations team with the appointment of a Senior Site Engineer.

The successful candidate will join the Project Team on a £65m Infrastructure Scheme which is delivering a major new Bypass to alleviate congestion, promote growth and enhance the inner-city environment. The programme runs through to mid 2020 and includes a diverse range of project elements including carriageways, roundabouts, bridges, underpasses and rail interfance.

The role will report to the Section Engineer / Project Manager and will take responsibility for Engineering delivery and performance, ensuring company standards and contract requirements are met, whilst maximising quality of service and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintaining and maximising quality levels against the Test & Inspection Plan
* Supporting the Project Leads with site set up, processes, procedures and programming
* Overseeing financial and commercial control of the Project
* Ensuring setting out operations are carried out to company standards
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide effective communication and reporting

Key Experience / Qualifications:

* Civil Engineering Degree / HND
* SMSTS or Equivalent
* Previous experience with Highways and Drainage works
* Concrete Piling and Major Earthworks experience
