We have a fantastic opportunity for an experience Site Manager to join the team of a main contractor working on new build and refurbishment projects in excess of £10M.

As well as a competitive salary and package, they offer ongoing support and development and access to work on some exciting projects in the leisure, education, health and commercial sectors.

Essential Experience:
We are recruiting for an experienced, hands on Site Manager who can take a project from start to completion, driving quality, programme and Health & Safety. Your background will need to demonstrate your history of managing projects from commencement through to completion.

To be successful at interview, you will need to demonstrate experience of managing groundworks, structures, roofing & cladding, fit out and an appreciation of Mechanical & Electrical installation and coordination. your may be responsible for you r own project, or be part of a team on a Major project.

Reporting in to a Project Manager, duties will include:
Managing direct and sub-contract personnel on site
Ensuring H&S compliance levels are met
Liaising with the Quantity Surveyor on commercial matters
Input into progress reports and client team meetings
Revision of programme, advising the contracts Manager of any risk accordingly
Review of RAMS

A high proportion of work is in the Cambridge region but you may be expected to work in the surrounding areas occasionally.

SMSTS essential
BSc Construction Management of HNC Construction preferred
