Are you a Site Manager looking for your next role in Kent? We've just landed a new Senior Site Manager position on a new build RC frame development in Dover, Kent which could be the opportunity you've been looking for!

* Location: Dover, Kent
* Start date: August 2018
* Duration: 12 months+ (temp to perm opportunity available)

The company:

Currently running at 5 live projects in the South East and a further 3 programmed to start within the next 8 months, this company's on-going success has meant it is time to recruit to bolster the existing team, so that they can continue to deliver quality projects for private developers and housing associations.

The project:

A new build RC frame development for a private developer delivering 40+ high-spec units all for the private sale market. Enabling works packages have just been completed, groundwork and superstructure packages are procured and the construction phase is anticipated to last 15 months.

The role:

As Senior Site Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of the site which will involve:

* Using your expertise of building out RC frame residential schemes to create workable programmes with your Contracts Manager.
* Provide input in to the design and buildability.
* Work with various internal departments along with external consultants, designers and engineers to resolve any site based issues and discuss value engineering opportunities.
* Ensure that programme, quality and cost targets are achieved through the effective management of the site team and subcontractors.
* With the support of your Contracts Manager, coordinate trades, direct labour and materials to achieve the programme.
* Ensure that all units meet clients specification and conform with building regulations.
* Monitoring quality control procedures in line with company policy and that action is taken to remedy defects and prevent recurrence.
* Monitor and control the cost of production and approve subcontractor payments.
* Monitor, promote and drive health and safety throughout the construction life cycle.
* With the support of the Contracts Manager, ensure that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their own job responsibilities, and are provided with full support in achieving these, in terms of communication, training and development, and the organisation of the site's workload and resources.

About you:

To be successful in your application with this role you will:

* Hold the valid CITB and health & safety qualification relevant to a Senior Site Manager.
* Have at least 10 years experience within a management position delivering new build schemes either for a principal contractor or residential developer.
* 3+ years experience of the RC frame process within a management position is essential.
* A can do attitude and pride in delivering a quality construction project.
* Working knowledge of programming software and the ability to write construction programmes
