Senior / Principal Town Planner

*32- 38 per hour* *Hertfordshire*

Are you looking for a new challenge, central location in Hertfordshire as well as a varied case load? A Borough council is currently looking to recruit for a Senior or Principal Planning Officer (Development Management) to assist with a mix case load of applications (including more complex) for an initial 4 month period with a view to move to an ongoing contract.

The suitable candidate would need to have working knowledge of dealing with planning applications and also have dealt a large case load of applications with in an Urban or City environment. The work load is varied and would range from, but not limited to; large minor applications (up to 10 units) and Major applications (up to 50 units). The candidate would need to have a planning degree or relevant working experience at a senior/principal level. Also you would need to hold a valid driving licence. and ideally have access to a vehicle.

The contract would be for an initial 4 months with a view to be an ongoing contract. Rates for the position range from £32-£38 per hour.
