SHE Manager, Kent.

40-42k pa, attractive penison, generous holiday allowance.

A rare opportunity for an experienced Safety, Health & Environment Professional to join a leading Higher education establishment based in Kent. It is a particularly exciting time for our client as they have recently embarked on a significant investment programme to create state of the art faciltiies including a medical school and science and teaching hub. The next 10 years will see continued investment in the Estate therefore they require someone ambitous who can share in thier vision and continue to work toward providing exceptional educational facilities in the South East.

The Role

As the lead SHE Manager you will ideally have:

* Experience of developing and implementing health, safety, compliance & sustainability within organisation and departmental strategies
* Knowledge of ISO14001 and Environmental Management Systems
* Proven track record of delivering projects and supporting change in services
* Proven track record of improving customer service/satisfaction
* Experience in successfully influencing common sense health and safety culture
* Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills with experience of representing dept/organisation and presenting in the organisation and externally


* IoSH Managing Safely
* NEBOSH Diploma (Or able to complete within 1 year od appointment)
* Degree of equivalent in Environmental Management
* ISO 14001 Internal Auditor
