Randstad CPE are currently working with a high profile Rail contractor to recruit a SHEQ Inspector/Advisor. The organisation have a track record of successful delivery of Civil's and M&E biased projects within the Rail sector and the health and safety agenda has always been core to their operations.

This role is a great opportunity to truly grow and develop with an organisation who are expanding rapidly within the Rail sector.

Responsibilities for the Regional Health and Safety Inspector/Advisor



* Visiting sites, engaging with site managers and external stakeholders, working with them to drive a positive safety culture
* Preparing, developing and delivering training internally to staff and carrying out tool box talks
* Offering advice and information to the site teams to assist in the implementation of the health and safety policy
* Investigating accidents and incidents and identifying the root cause and sharing best practice
* Working with the internal corporate health and safety function to assist in developing the wider health and safety strategy

Requirements:



* Proven experience within Rail sector - Minimum 2 years
* NEBOSH
* Genuine enthusiasm for health and safety and the drive to make a difference
* Excellent communications skills with the ability to tailor a message and communicate succinctly to a range of stakeholders

Regular site travel will be required for this role. A UK Driving License is essential.
