An established RC Frame and Groundworks contractor that operate throughout the UK are seeking an experienced Site / Setting out Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis.

Having been established for over 40 years with an annual turnover of £150m, they are known for their expertise within the civils area for working on complex Residential and Mixed-use projects for Principal Contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Mace and Lendlease.

They are looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on a busy site in Birmingham which is a 42 storey RC Frame which will involve dealing with the full groundworks package.

You will be tasked with overseeing a team of engineers and liaising directly with the project manager to ensure the project is achieving deadlines.

The overall package value is £17.5m and is expected to last for 98 weeks, this is a prestigious project in the heart of Birmingham.

The ideal candidate must hold a relevant civil engineering degree and have experience of working for a civils subcontractor on groundworks and RC frame packages
