Freelance Site Engineer Required!

£24 - £29 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a freelance Site Engineer to be based in the Anglian region, to start asap, working with a civils contractor, who are working on the AMP 6 framework. This contractor deal with all aspects of civil engineering, however, you will specifically be working on the AMP 6 framework for this particular contract. Therefore we are looking for site engineers who have a good understanding of water projects.

You will be responsible for:



* Road notices
* Occasional design work
* Resourcing materials
* Placing orders
* Managing workload
* Occasional setting out
* RAMS

Requirements:



* Degree / HND qualified
* Minimum 10 years site engineer experience
* Essential that you understand design
* AutoCAD
* Use of Total Stations or GPS
* Experience in - highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks, special works
* Ability to explain design ideas and plans clearly and concisely
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Ability to work within budgets and to tight deadlines
* Ability to work within a team
