Site Engineer

Are you a Site Engineer? Looking for a new challenge to work on a long term civil engineering contract? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you to work alongside a well known contractor in the Eastbourne area.

Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Eastbourne

Contract type: Short term cover

Start Date: End of April 2019

Rate: £240 - £270 per day (dependent on experience)

The project will involve you working as an engineer on a holiday cover on a local road scheme in the Eastbourne area.

Responsibilities include:



* Keep onsite records
* Ordering materials
* Carrying out precise works to the specifications of a projects
* Reporting in to a Site Agent
* Setting Out area, using the drawings provided
* Liaising with site staff

Requirements and experience include:



* Degree/HND Qualified
* AutoCAD
* Use of Total Stations of GPS
* Ability to explain design ideas and plan concisely
* Excellent communicator both written and verbal
* Ability to work in a team to tight budgets and deadlines
