job description

Site Engineer required for a main contractor; working on a construction site in Sherborne.

The position has arisen due to high work volume and not enough in house staff

Benefits:

Working for a main contractor who has a market reputation of delivering large multi million pound screams. This particular job is phase one of three, each phase is a one year build program so therefore you could be with the business for the next three years.

Responsibilities:



* Setting out of draining
* Setting out piling
* Pile caps
* Retaining walls
* Ground beam
* QA
* Updating and working on Auto Cad
* Overcoming Engineering Complications

Requirements:



* Must be familiar with robotics and total station
* Responsible for QA and checking sub contractors work
* Overcome any unforeseen problems
* Use CAD and update drawings
* Report into site manger and project manager on progress

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven Site Engineer; we will be looking to progress suitable candidates asap with a view to start within two weeks. This is a contract role and as such would not be suitable for someone who is permanently employed.
