My client operates nationally with 11 regional offices and workshops enabling us to provide a local service to their customers promoting sustainable working relationships. Providing a complete service offering to the construction industry from conception to optimisation, delivering best value and innovation.

They require a Site Manager who can be based for the following locations Nottingham, Derby, Leicestershire or Birmingham. Applicants must have good water experience (infra or non-infra and clean or waste acceptable).


* A salary of £40,000-50,000 per annum

Qualifications and Experience:

* Knowledge of Civil engineering (M&E Knowledge Advantageous)
* SMSTS & CSCS Essential
* NRSWA / Firs Aid / EUSR Blue Card Preferable
* Experience working in the Water Industry (Clean or Waste) preferable
* Commercial and contractual awareness
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
* Self-motivation
* Be able to organise yourself and others workload
* Be able to work in a strong team environment
* An excellent communicator
* A high level of diplomacy and customer focused

Key Responsibilities:

* To ensure Health & Safety are of paramount importance
* To regularly review project status ensuring all options have been considered and evaluated to improve construction performance.
* Ensure commercial challenge at all times
* Promote Near Miss and Positive Intervention reporting
* Strong leadership with employees on site
* Engage with Supply Chain
* Quality Assurance
* Environmental control
* Development of strong team working relationships
* Ensuring all project KPI`s and KPM`s are achieved
* Upload documentation as and when necessary in line with business requirements to folders to ensure latest documentation is always available
* Monitoring Project Programmes in Collaborative Planning Meetings
* Ensuring compliance to NMCN &STW procedures through weekly returns where required
* Cost risk management and early identification of problematic issues on site
* Produce safe and efficient sites
* Ownership of the project, costs, programme, documentation, site activities, procurement etc
* Bring innovative ideas
* Meet set targets / monitor against SM KPI's
