Site Manager Needed in Sussex

Salary/Rate: £260 - £280 per day

The Company

A national developer specialising within the residential new build sector. Current contracts have a mix of housing association and private residential.

The Project

Project consists of 300 residential units mix of 2 and 2.5 storey houses and apartment blocks (5 one bedroom, 29 two bedroom flats, 65 two bedroom, 142 three bedroom, 51 four bedroom and 8 five bedroom), 2 football pitches, MUGA and NEAP with associated access.

The Role

As the number one Site Manager you will be responsible for managing a variety of sub- contractors and labour packages whilst reporting directly into the contracts manager.

* You will be responsible for quality control
* Managing the Sub - Contractors
* Tool box talks
* RAMS & Health & Safety
* Site paperwork
* Reporting back to the Project Manager
* Material control
* Programme reporting
* Reading & interpreting drawings

About You

* Candidates will need to have experience in new traditional build.
* Ideally candidates will have had some experience of working with national developers
* Good eye for detail.
* Be able to interpret construction drawings and designs.
* Strong man-management skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Good level of IT literacy.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid.
