Site Manager - Permanent Opportunity - Sussex

Your new role:

You will be joining a Contractor with a variety of projects from residential to MOJ to leisure all throughout Sussex. This contractor is nationally recognised and respected and you will be supported by their fantstic management team.

Initally you will be joining a new build educational project to the value of approximately £8 million, from here you will be moved to another project in Sussex.

This is an exciting time for a Sussex based Site Manager to join a contractor with local projects and improve on their work/ life balance!

Your duties:

As the Site Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of site reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager

* Managing Health & Safety
* Site inductions and tools box talks
* Attend client & progress meetings
* Man management including sub-contractors and Foreman
* Client Liaison and Client walk around (with Project Manager)
* Managing quality of works
* Daily sheets including progress, timesheets, deliveries

About you:

* HND / HNC or similar in Construction Management is beneficial but not a necessity
* Full understanding of current Health & Safety Legislation
* Sound judgement and problem solving skills
* Experience working for a main contractor
