About this Role:
Due to expansion, with a number of sites due to start during the next quarter across the West, an opportunity has arisen for a strong Site Manager to join the team.
You will come from a volume house builder background and be responsible for all duties as number 1 on site.
You will have strong people skills and be able to get the most out of your team, working hard to achieve deadlines without compromising on quality.
Progression opportunities are strong with current expansion plans.
About the Company/Client/Project:
Our client has been at the forefront of cutting-edge residential property development in the Western region of England since the 1980's. During this period they have built over 1600 homes of distinction and quality.
The homes built by our client range from one-bedroom apartments and starter homes through to substantial detached houses, with a host of character homes in between.
Up until now, our client did not have a 'standard' house type. All designs have a one-off appeal because they are all designed to fit in with the individual characteristics of the area. They are able to use local materials and recreate authentic period detailing in a contemporary setting, but in complete contrast they can also build striking modern designs.
This is an exciting time as the client is looking to now bring all construction related activities in-house and to add to their portfolio of bespoke build up to around 12 units per scheme, a range of standard house types that are bespoke to each project of up to 200 units per scheme.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Degree qualified is preferred but not essential with directly relevant experience being the defining factor.
You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of your successes.
CSCS Card at Site Manager level
Valid SMSTS certificate
Valid First Aid at Work certificate
