A well established regional contractor with a wealth of experience across multiple sectors including residential, commercial and education.
Fast track 12 week office fit out project worth circa £500k. Our client is looking for a number 1 Site Manager who can run this project from site setup stage through to completion.
Reporting into a visiting Contracts Manager you will be responsible for:Management of the master build programmeMonitoring subcontractor progress against programmeHealth & SafetySetting up the site documentation systemsWriting reports, maintaining diaries and recordsChairing site meetings which will include pre-start with client & contractors, weekly coordination meetings and monthly contract reviewsCoordination of site activities including subcontractors, labour and logisticsCarrying out site inspectionsWorking closely with the commercial team, external design teams, Engineers and ConsultantsProviding regular progress updates and holding regular project reviews with the visiting Contracts Manager
Qualifications:SMSTSCSCS Card (Black Card would be preferable)First Aid
Experience:Proven track record of successfully delivering fast track fit out schemes.Working knowledge of building regulations and experience of dealing with clients on a regular basis.4-5 years experience of working in a similar role.
Skill set:An eye for detail.Strong man-management and motivational skills.Be able to write detailed reports.Excellent organisation.Client facing and approachable.
