Site Manager Needed in East Sussex

Location: Eastbourne

Contract type: Contract

Start date: 01.12.2018

Duration: 12 months

Salary/Rate: £200 a day

The Company

A private owned family run contractor that works in various sectors from Affordable Housing, Healthcare, Education and other areas of construction

The Project

Project is a residential scheme, mainly private with a small mix of housing association. All timber frame, 110 units worth £20 million in value.

The Role

As the one of the Site Managers you will be responsible for managing a variety of sub- contractors and labour packages whilst reporting directly into the Contracts manager.



* You will be responsible for quality control
* Managing the Sub - Contractors
* Tool box talks
* RAMS & Health & Safety
* Site paperwork
* Reporting back to the Project Manager
* Material control
* Programme reporting
* Reading & interpreting drawings

About You



* Candidates will need to have experience in new timber frame build.
* Ideally candidates will have had some experience of working with national developers
* Good eye for detail.
* Be able to interpret construction drawings and designs.
* Strong man-management skills.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* Good level of IT literacy.
* SMSTS.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid.
