About these Roles:
Experienced Site Manager's required to work with site based construction team's on a variety of different projects across Guildford.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing trade sub-contractors and all site based construction activities for your section/area, including short-term programming of works, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, logistics, quality control, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, etc, snagging and handover.
All the projects have commenced on site and run until the handover, mid 2021. Excellent opportunity to work and gain experience on a large, fast paced projects in the South Coast region.
About the Company/Client/Project:
They are all busy, regional main contractors with an average annual turnover of £75M, and a proven track record in the delivery of medium - large sized schemes from £5m to £50m in a variety of sectors.
The work patch covers Surrey.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, and communication skills. A proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor would be advantageous.
Ideally from a trades, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes, you will possess strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, 'get it right first time' approach.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager looking to gain experience on a larger scheme.
You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.
