Site Manager Needed in East Sussex

Job title: Site Manager

Contract type: Freelance

Salary / pay rate: £240 - 250 a day

Location: Hove

Start date: 02.02.2019

The Company

As a Principal contractor, the building projects they manage are varied which ensure full engagement from their team. The key operating sectors include leisure, healthcare, education, social housing, commercial, retail with project values reaching in excess of £50 million.

The Project

A £14.5 million scheme which comprises of demolition and a construction off a building with part 3 storey and part 7 storey which will form one, two, three and four bedroom apartments as well as incorporating commercial units in basement and ground floor.

The Role

As one of the leading Site Managers you will be responsible for managing a variety of sub- contractors and labour packages under the instruction of the site based Project manager.

* You will be responsible for quality control
* Managing the Sub - Contractors
* Tool box talks
* RAMS & Health & Safety
* Site paperwork
* Reporting back to the Project Manager
* Material control
* Programme reporting
* Reading & interpreting drawings

About You

* Candidates will need to have experience in managing both external and internal packages.
* Ideally candidates will have had some experience of working on large projects.
